On March 16, Navruz holiday will be celebrated on the occasion of the assignment of the status of “Tourist Village” to Sentob of Nurata district.

According to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Uzbekistan, folklore and ethnographic collectives, pop singers will perform at the event, an exhibition of fine arts and handicrafts will be organized.

The event will also include traditional games and sports competitions in lifting stones, tug of war, wrestling.

It is also planned to organize exhibitions of national dishes typical for Nurata district and Sentob village, called “The Blessing of Spring” and “The Best Dishes of Navruz”.
