Senate: Weapons circulation will be streamlined

In order to streamline the circulation of weapons that are available and used in accordance with the law by state bodies, legal entities and individuals, the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Weapons” has been developed.
At the twentieth plenary session of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, senators, based on a discussion of the law, noted that it classifies types of weapons.
The law provides a list of entities with the right to purchase weapons and ammunition. This list includes special bodies and military structures that have special service tasks, involved in production and sale of weapons, legal entities and individuals operating in the field of hunting and shooting, citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan, citizens of foreign countries, stateless persons engaged in collecting and exhibiting weapons.
Senators approved the law.
