Members of the working group discussed the laws on the agenda of the second plenary session of the Senate.

In particular, the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On international commercial arbitration” was considered.

It will contribute to the reliable protection of the rights and legitimate interests of foreign investors and national companies operating in the country in their interaction with foreign partners. The law also provides for the reduction of costs of economic entities in settlement of disputes, recognition and enforcement of arbitral awards.

At the meeting, experts noted that this law under consideration is a direct action law that regulates all issues of arbitration.
