Seismological Atlas of Uzbekistan
Scientists of the Institute of Seismology named after G.Mavlyanov have compiled the Seismological Atlas of Uzbekistan to map earthquakes and assess their socio-economic and environmental consequences, as well as to plan measures against possible earthquakes in the regions of the country with high seismic activity.
According to the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, the Atlas was prepared based on many years of scientific research. It consists of seven chapters and contains more than 70 maps, among which there are also geological and tectonic. The Atlas can be used not only by specialists in geology and seismology, but also by researchers, professors, as well as those studying earth science and simply interested people.
