Seeds for the Future 2024: IT education has no borders
20:53 / 2024-08-13

The Seeds for the Future 2024 Conference in Tashkent is attended by 150 students, 14 teachers, and academics from the Middle East and Central Asia.

– We are implementing the educational program Seeds for the Future 2024 with Huawei and the Ministry of Digital Technologies. The event has been held internationally since 2008. Last year, the finals of this project were held in Dubai and China, and the semifinal stage of the Central Asian countries was held in Doha. The event was planned to be held in Uzbekistan in 2024, as students from Uzbekistan took the places of honor. Currently, students from 14 countries have arrived in Tashkent. Their main goal is to get to know Uzbekistan, explore the country’s cultural heritage, and establish cooperation with our students.

At last year’s Seeds for the Future event, students from Uzbekistan took second place and received $10 thousand from Huawei for their startup projects. It should also be noted that their application took first place in the public survey.

IT education has no boundaries. An IT student can start his own business in cooperation with a student from another part of the world, – said Nodirbek Barnoyev, Head of the IT Education Association.
