The lower house lawmaker Elbek Shukurov has met with personnel of enterprises specializing in public utility services of Shaykhontohur District of Tashkent City as well as social sphere officials and mahalla activists.

Participants of the occasion got familiar with information on the organizational and normative events and plans of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis projected for 2015 and future years.

It was noted that the comprehensive and perfect elaboration of the laws passed this year in new edition, such as those on the Securities Market, on Electronic Commerce, on Mandatory Insurance of Civil Responsibility of the Carrier and other bills owes to the meetings with the population.

“The majority of issues discussed at the joint session of the Senate of Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan are designed to enhance socio-political and economic reforms, to improve the investment and business environment, promote private entrepreneurship, perfect the judicial sphere, boost the healthcare of citizens and provide for information security,” the deputy Elbek Shukurov said.

The event participants put forward proposals to bolster the socio-economic development of the neighborhood, to ensure the execution of laws and corresponding national programs. The legislator answered the questions raised by the participants of the meeting.
