It was difficult to resist the temptation of sweet Uzbek breads (patir, lepashka), unique cakes and pastries, lush buns that are presented at the exhibition. However, participants could become acquainted with the equipment for bakery production, advanced technologies of domestic and foreign companies.

Uzbek bakery and confectionery products are popular not only in Uzbekistan, but also far beyond its borders. According to the Press Service of Tashkent city khokimiyat, over 850 tons of bakery and confectionery products are produced daily in the country. 59 organizations that are members of Tashkent Bread Association produce 56 types of bakery and confectionery products per day. 530 to 550 tons of tin bread is produced daily. In Tashkent, up to 200 tons of flat bread (lepeshka) and over 100 tons of confectionery are produced on average per day.

According to experts, new technologies are being introduced at the enterprises of the system. However, this figure has not yet reached the required level. Introduction of innovative technologies in the field for further expanding the product range, increasing production and export performance is a requirement of time.
