Silent Uzbek films were screened at the Arab World Institute in Paris. The films Leper (1928) and Her Right (1931) were screened with live music.

The musical director of the program is Abror Zufarov, Associate Professor of the Uzbek National Institute of Musical Art named after Yunus Rajabi.

The event was attended by the Director of the Republican Film Fund Eljon Abbasov and film critic, head of the Film and Television Department of the Institute of Art History of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan Nigora Karimova, who spoke about the uniqueness and importance of these films and how the shooting took place.

The film screening was held as part of a cultural and enlightenment program dedicated to the exhibition “The Road to Samarkand. Wonders of Silk and Gold”, organized by the Art and Culture Development Foundation under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
