The SCO Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure is ready to provide necessary assistance to the competent authorities of Kazakhstan upon request, the Executive Committee of the Structure states.

The Executive Committee expressed serious concern over the situation in Kazakhstan and support for the decisive comprehensive measures taken by the country’s leadership to ensure public safety and protect the constitutional order of the country.

“We are sure that the measures implemented by the state, law enforcement and special bodies will make it possible to neutralize the illegal actions of terrorist and bandit groups in the shortest possible time. We express our deep condolences to the families and relatives of the killed servicemen and law enforcement officers who performed their military and official duties”, the statement says.
