The Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan is holding the 9th Tashkent International Biennale of Contemporary Art.

Several exhibitions, masterclasses, meetings with the participation of artists and art critics from different countries are organized.

The Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan hosted an International Scientific and Practical Conference on “The Artist and Society. Future Art Concepts”.

The conference was attended by art scholars and artists with reports on the current issues of contemporary art.

The participants discussed reports on “The Artist and Society in the 21st Century”, “World trends in the development of contemporary art”, “Current problems of contemporary art”, “Contemporary art and the information society”, “Traditions and innovations in contemporary art”, “Contemporary art and art education”, “Contemporary art and museums”, “Problems of national peculiarities in globalization and art”, “Youth art in the 21st century”, “Development of the “Future Art” Concept”.
