The Scientific Division of the Rosatom State Atomiс Energy Corporation and the Institute of Nuclear Physics under the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan will jointly implement projects and conduct research and development work in the field of radiation materials science, calculation of exotic reactions and astrophysics. In addition, the partners intend to join forces to develop technologies for producing radionuclides for nuclear medicine.

The corresponding Cooperation Agreement was signed between JSC Science and Innovations (managing company of the scientific division of Rosatom) and the Institute of Nuclear Physics under the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, at the international forum ATOMEXPO-2022, in Sochi.

The agreement includes the exchange of information, the development and implementation of joint research programs, mutual technical tours to enterprises, joint meetings and expertise on strategic issues of further scientific and technological development within the assigned areas.
