The National Library of Uzbekistan named after Alisher Navoi held a scientific-educational forum in cooperation with the Agency for Information and Mass Communications under the Administration of the President, the Academy of Sciences, the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education and E-Line Press LLC on the use of scientific data in publishing.

Issues related to the development of innovative activities, ensuring the high quality of scientific research, the use of world scientific-educational sources in publishing and the creation of electronic sources were discussed at the event.

It was noted that the effective use of advanced information resources in science is an important factor in improving the quality of research and education, the development of production and the economy of the country.

Employees of information and library resources, publishing houses in the agency's system got acquainted with the types of electronic sources, the preservation of scientific data and their use, as well as about the world's leading publishing houses and the possibilities of publishing articles in foreign journals.
