Scientific cooperation with Oxford strengthens

One of the prominent research institutions in the world, Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies has published an article on cooperation with Uzbekistan.As noted in the article, in March this year, a delegation of representatives of the Center for Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan, the Imam Bukhari International Research Center, the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan and the Center for the Study of Cultural Property of Uzbekistan, located abroad, organized a trip to the UK and discussed issues of cooperation with Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies in scientific and educational sphere.
During the trip, reports were read for the scientific community of the United Kingdom, presentations and exhibitions were organized on contribution of Uzbekistan to the development of Islamic civilization, reforms in the religious and educational sphere conducted in the country, demonstration of the potential of the ancient region in pilgrimage tourism.
Founder Director of the Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies Farhan Ahmad Nizami noted interest in cooperation with Islamic research centers of Uzbekistan, emphasized the readiness to publish joint catalogs, conduct scientific research of ancient manuscripts.
Undoubtedly, cooperation with leading international scientific centers indicates that activities of the Center for Islamic Civilization and the Imam Bukhari International Research Center are dynamically developing, and Uzbekistan's reforms in this sphere are recognized at the world level.
