The Institute of Mineral Resources, under the University of Geological Sciences, hosted a meeting with representatives of the Xi'an Center of Geological Survey.

Issues of strengthening bilateral cooperation, in particular, the implementation of investment projects in geology, the establishment of scientific research, the exchange of mutual experience, and the development of information platforms, were discussed at the meeting. The need for further enrichment of Uzbekistan’s mineral resource base, using modern technologies in geological exploration, and introducing foreign experience and innovations into the industry was emphasized.

The parties reached an agreement on conducting joint research, professional development, development of educational and scientific programs, and ensuring constant communication between specialists.

The participants noted the importance of bringing bilateral relations in geology to a new level and achieving effective results in a harmonious combination of science and innovation.
