As stated at a press conference held at AIMC with the participation of the leaders and officials of the Uzbekcosmos Agency, the “CubeSat” scientific and educational satellite will be produced and launched in Uzbekistan.
In April this year, a meeting of representatives of over 250 space corporations, agencies, and committees from more than 30 countries took place in Tashkent. Within the framework of this international conference, organized by the Uzbekcosmos Agency, an agreement was reached on implementing several joint projects with Türkiye, the United States, Kazakhstan, and the UAE. Most of them are aimed at training new personnel in the field.
At the 2nd meeting of the heads of space agencies and departments of the member states and observers of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), which took place within the framework of the conference, it was decided to organize an educational program for youth at the Space Camp Turkiye located in Türkiye’s Izmir.
