Tashkent hosted international conference on “Science and Culture in Amir Temur and the Temurids era”.

Founder of the Association for Timurid Art and History in France Mrs. Frederique Bressand in her own country and in Uzbekistan wears Uzbek national clothes, silver jewelry by Uzbekistan masters. This shows her unlimited respect for Uzbekistan, its rich history, especially for Sahibkiran Amir Temur and the Temurids, Uzbek culture and art.

Mrs. Frederique Bressand came to the international conference on “Science and Culture in Amir Temur and the Temurids era”, held in Tashkent, in a charming Uzbek costume. This forum was organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Embassy of France in Uzbekistan jointly with the Academy of Sciences, the National Human Rights Centre, the State Museum of Temurids History, the Ministry of Culture and other partners.

It was noted that the reign of Amir Temur and the Temurids is the most glorious and powerful era of Uzbekistan history. Undoubtedly, the culture of this era constitutes the brightest pages of human civilization. The highest level of development was achieved by science, architecture, visual and applied art, literature, music, which glorified this time as the Renaissance of Temurids.

Sources relating to the era of Sahibkiran Amir Temur and Temurids are published in many languages of European people. It is noteworthy that in this case the leading positions belong to the French scientists. Research relating to the era of the Temurids has an important and primary place in scientific research of Orientalists of this country. Publication in France of the books Zafarname, Matla’ us-sa’dayn va majma’ ul-bakhrain, Baburname and other works about the Temurids epoch is a bright practical manifestation of respect for our great ancestors.

On the same day, the guests from France got acquitted with the exposition in the State Museum of Temurids History and the exhibition “The Temurids epoch through the eyes of artists”.
