Uzbekistan team, consisting of 4 participants for the first time in history, won medals at the 35th International Olympiad in Informatics, held in Szeged, Hungary.

According to the Ministry of Preschool and School Education, bronze medals were brought to the Uzbekistan team by Dilyorbek Valijonov, a student of Andijan Presidential School, and Dilshodbek Khodjayev, a student of a specialized school in Tashkent.

This year, schoolchildren from Uzbekistan won 13 medals at the five most prestigious international Olympiads – the best indicator in the country’s history.
