Scholarship for medical students for foreign language proficiency established
From the 2023/2024 academic year, students studying in medical institutions of higher education and public health colleges named after Abu Ali ibn Sina who have mastered foreign languages well will be encouraged.
The Minister of Health signed the corresponding order on August 11 this year.
From September 1, 2023, medical students who have an internationally recognized certificate in English (IELTS Academic), German, or French with a result of at least C1 level will be encouraged. A stipend of three BCVs will be paid monthly in addition to regular payments throughout the certificate’s validity.
This scholarship is provided in addition to the payment for medical higher educational institutions students specified in the Presidential Resolution of April 7, 2020.
