During the visit of Uzbekistan government delegation to Saudi Arabia, the heads of relevant ministries and agencies discussed promising areas of multifaceted cooperation.

Talks were held with the leaders of ACWA Power, Al Rajhi, Dr. Sulaiman Al-Habib, Saudi German Hospitals, Saudi National Bank, Maaden, Dar Al Arkan, and Al Hokair. 

The parties considered prospects for the implementation of new projects in horticulture, animal husbandry, mining and processing of minerals, the textile industry, and construction. 

The main attention was paid to the healthcare sector. A preliminary agreement was reached on the creation of multidisciplinary medical institutions and medical clusters, and the digitalization of medical services. 

The delegation members also discussed the possibility of a partnership with banks in the privatization of commercial banks in Uzbekistan. Measures to increase the volume of passenger and cargo air transportation between Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia were considered.

The parties agreed to continue negotiations to sign relevant agreements.
