Sarajevo hosted the World Judo Cadets Championships 2022.

Almost 500 judokas from 61 countries participated in the championships.

Uzbekistan's national team won a gold, four silver, three bronze medals and took 4th place in the team events. While Barchinoy Qodirova became the world champion among juniors.
