Workshops, meetings, and competitions were organized within the framework of the Kurash Week.

Kurash events, which have transformed from a national into a world sport, organized on the American continent, ended in the luxurious Olympic Center in Santo Domingo with the Pan American Championship and the World Series Pro Cup of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. 

The competitions were observed by the President of the National Olympic Committee of the Dominican Republic, José Joaquín Puello, responsible persons of the International Kurash Association, the President of the Pan-American Kurash Union, Jaime Casanova, and specialists from the Uzbekistan Kurash Federation, who controlled the technical and tactical situation at the competitions.

Athletes from several countries in North and South America participated in the competition, followed by hundreds of sports fans, journalists, and experts in physical culture and sports, indicating the growing popularity of kurash in the international arena.
