One of the largest oil and gas companies in Uzbekistan Sanoat Energetika Guruhi (SEG) produced 276,000 tons of liquid hydrocarbons in the first half of this year, which is 9 percent more than the same period last year.
The main drivers of growth in the first six months were the conducted geological and technical activities. The average daily production as of July 1, 2022, reached just over 1,700 tons of hydrocarbons. The figure for the same period last year amounted to 1,468 tons. Thus, the increase in daily production is more than 16 percent.
In the first half of this year, 34 wells were put into operation from the expectation of liquidation, control and liquidation fund, while in the first half of last year there were only 7 wells. Along with this, during the specified period, 5 wells were put into operation from drilling.
The company continued to diversify its portfolio of orders in the first half of this year. In total, 119,445.89 tons of diesel fuel, 85,399.46 tons of gasoline, and 3,062.87 tons of TS-1 jet fuel were delivered to the company’s customers. The company significantly increased the production of petroleum oils, bringing the figure to 21,870.61 tons.
To date, contracts have been concluded for the supply of the company’s products with 902 customers, including 887 in the domestic market and 15 outside of Uzbekistan. In the first half of the year, 7 new contracts were signed for the supply of products to the foreign market, including contracts with such companies as Centrum Parafiny (Poland), DYM Resources (Germany), Duato Corporation (UK), HILL (Kazakhstan), Asia Oil (Tajikistan), Tecza Energia (Poland) and Elita Tichorat (Tajikistan).
The number of employees as of January 1, 2022, amounted to 3,244 people, as of July 1 – 3,346 people.
