Delegation of Sakarya University (Türkiye) – professors Naci Çağlar, Sinan Serdar Özkan and Dr. Serhat Küçük visited Samarkand State University.

Chief Advisor of the International Cooperation Department, professor Mukhtar Nosirov received the guests.

The main purpose of the meeting was the development of cooperation, in particular, the establishment of student exchange.

During the conversation, proposals were put forward on training undergraduates based on a joint educational program 1+1, as well as the passage by professors and teachers of scientific internships. Sakarya University specialists decided to regularly organize a remote workshop for teachers and students of SamSU.

The parties discussed the issue of establishing an exchange of experience in bioengineering, mechatronics, electronics and agricultural engineering. In addition, the issue of teaching the Turkish language to SamSU undergraduates who wish to continue their studies in Türkiye was agreed upon. One doctoral candidate (PhD) was offered scientific supervision at Sakarya University.

Following the meeting, the parties signed a Memorandum of Cooperation.
