In our country, along with other types of sport, Sambo is also actively developed. Uzbek sportsmen defend the honor of our country in the world and continental championships in this type of sport.

In the course of events such athletes as Avaz Abdujalilov, Ahmad Rahmatullaev, Shahzod Rahmatullaev, Doniyor Ismoilov, Sherzod Azimov, Janona Rahimkulova, Oydinoy Bozorova, Husnida Kuchkorova, Rano Shodieva were awarded with gold medals.
