The delegation of Samarkand region, led by the Acting Hokim of the region A. Boboyev and consisting of the heads of the districts of the region and entrepreneurs, visited the People’s Republic of China.

According to the Regional Hokimiyat, a business forum on investment, trade, and tourism was held in Tianjin, with representatives from Samarkand region and Guangdong Province.

At the beginning of the forum, the leaders of Samarkand region and Guangdong Province made presentations and provided information about the economic potential and investment opportunities of the regions.

In particular, Samarkand region’s Hokim invited Chinese investors to Uzbekistan and expressed his readiness to provide them with comprehensive assistance.

Samarkand region’s investment attractiveness was presented at the event. The participants were informed about the directions and prospects of cooperation.

B2B and G2B meetings also took place between the two countries’ businesspeople.

The delegation will also visit large enterprises and companies in Tianjin during the visit.

Prospects for establishing mutually beneficial cooperation were also discussed at the meeting with Jiangtong North China (Tianjin) Copper Co., Ltd. leadership.
