Samarkand region’s tourism industry representatives visited Tashkent to present their new services and tourist routes to the capital’s tour operators.

During the presentation, Samarkand residents conducted a brief tour of the region’s history, told about little-known facts about popular attractions, and asked for help promoting little-known cultural sites.

New tourist routes, ecological and gastronomic tourism opportunities were also presented. Special attention was paid to the advanced tourism infrastructure, which is constantly developing and renovated.

Currently, tourism projects are being implemented in Samarkand region, designed to make the stay and movement of tourists as comfortable as possible. Increasing the number of hotels and guest houses creates competition, stimulating quality improvement. 

After the presentation, the participants discussed the prospects for further cooperation.
