Samarkand Human Rights Forum to be held every two years
The International Human Rights Forum will be held every two years in October-November or at other times at the suggestion of the organizing committee of the forum.
The International Human Rights Forum will be held every two years in October-November or at other times at the suggestion of the organizing committee of the forum.
The main goal of Samarkand Human Rights Forum is to identify and eliminate existing problems through the exchange of international experience in human rights, further enhancing the positive international image of Uzbekistan in this sphere.
The forum is organized by the National Center for Human Rights, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Finance, as well as the Hokimiyat of Samarkand region.
The working body of Samarkand Forum is the National Center of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Human Rights.
The Forum will be attended by UN structural units, international and regional human rights organizations, national institutions, parliaments, judicial and law enforcement agencies, representatives of civil society institutions, international and local experts, scientists, industry experts, journalists and other members of the public.
