Representatives of domestic and Italian cinematography, as well as foreign guests, took part in the gala event organized on this occasion at the “Sharq Yulduzi” movie theater in Samarkand.

As noted, this festival is held jointly with the Cinematography Agency under the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the National Center for Cinematography Development as part of the XVI Verona Eurasian Economic Forum.

Director of the Cinematography Agency Firdavs Abdukhalikov, the Director of N.I.C.E. Festival Viviana Del Bianco, President of the Association “Conoscere Eurasia” Antonio Fallico and others noted the importance of this festival for further developing relations between the two countries in culture and art.

As part of the event, a screening of the film “The Long Road” took place. The films “Amanda” and “The Sun of the Future” (“Il col della avvenire”) will be shown in Italian with Uzbek subtitles as part of the festival.

The festival will run until November 4.
