On October 19, the Silk Road Tourist Center in Samarkand will host the Global Forum on Education “The Foundation of Building Tourism”.

According to uzbektourism.uz, the event will be held within the framework of the 25th General Assembly of the UN World Tourism Organization (GA25 UNWTO).

The forum is one of the main events of the UNWTO General Assembly, which will bring together more than 1,200 domestic and foreign specialists and experts in tourism from more than 30 countries. During the forum, experts will discuss current issues related to innovations in education, science, and tourism.

The event program will include a presentation of the Ulysses Awards UNWTO, which supports achievements and initiatives in tourism and education.

The Ministry of Ecology, the Tourism Committee, and the Tourism Development Institute under the Committee invite scientists, specialists, and experts in education, science, and innovation to take an active part in the forum.
