Samarkand hosted the third Conference of Uzbekistan Neurosurgeons at the initiative of the Asian Congress of Neurological Surgeons.

It was attended by scientists and specialists in neurosurgery from medical higher education institutions and leading research centers from more than 10 countries, including France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Malaysia, Russia, South Korea, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan and Ukraine.

After the plenary session, the conference continued its work in sections. Lectures on current issues of spinal and pediatric neurosurgery, vascular neurosurgery, peripheral nervous system, neuro-oncology, functional neurosurgery were heard.

Young scientists and talented researchers were awarded certificates and diplomas.
