The Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan hosted a meeting with a delegation led by the Chairman of the Government of the Republic of Sakha Andrei Tarasenko.

The parties discussed the prospects for mutual relations in agriculture, including scientific and educational areas in horticulture and seed production.

The sides agreed on direct and systemic supplies of fruits and vegetables from Uzbekistan to Yakutia.

The Russian side expressed its readiness for long-term imports of fruits and vegetables from Uzbekistan.
