Saida Mirziyoyeva on Uzbekistan’s mission at EXPO 2025: “It’s more than participation”
14:00 / 2025-05-19

Uzbekistan’s participation in the Expo 2025 Osaka, Japan, is significant, reflecting the country’s strategic choice favoring sustainable development, education, and innovation. This was stated by the Assistant to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Saida Mirziyoyeva, in her welcoming speech at the events of the national pavilion.

“It is important to us that young people draw their energy from pure sources, and that culture serves to unite rather than divide”, she emphasized, noting that Uzbekistan sees its future in synthesizing traditional values and progressive ideas.

The performance of the National Symphony Orchestra conducted by maestro Alibek Kabdurakhmanov attracted special attention within the framework of the cultural program of Uzbekistan at EXPO 2025. The Japanese audience, who are well acquainted with the work of Uzbekistan musicians, enthusiastically accepted the gala concert, which culminated in the world premiere of the work Celestial Dance/Amatobu Kagura. The composition is a musical symbol of strong friendship and cultural interaction between Japan and Uzbekistan.
