Head of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Uzbekistan Saida Mirziyoyeva met with the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov.
Gratitude was expressed to the President of Kyrgyzstan for the warm welcome and meaningful conversation, which took place in an open and trusting atmosphere.
It was noted that the people of the two countries are united by their aspiration for development and prosperity, based on mutual respect and trust. It was emphasized that the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev attaches particular importance to strengthening relations with Kyrgyzstan as a close neighbor and strategic partner.
A vivid confirmation of this is the agreements reached on border issues, the mutual recognition of national ID cards, the establishment of joint ventures, as well as the implementation of large-scale projects, including the construction of the Kambarata-1 Hydropower Plant and the China – Kyrgyzstan – Uzbekistan railway.
During the meeting, the successful organization of the “Zakovat” intellectual tournaments in both countries was also noted. This project contributes to strengthening friendly ties and fostering active engagement among the youth of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.
