Head of the Presidential Administration Saida Mirziyoyeva congratulated the winners of the fourth Zakovat-Gambit chess tournament of the year. A total of 2,210 participants took part in the intellectual competition, including 286 girls.

“I wholeheartedly congratulate the winners of the tournament! Together, we have come a long way, from doubts about our idea to international recognition and pride in our chess players. The victories of our girls are especially pleasing. I wish all participants success and confidence in themselves!”, Saida Mirziyoyeva said.

The Zakovat-Gambit tournament continues to attract more participants and has become one of the most prominent platforms for promoting the chess movement in Uzbekistan.
