The United Nations (UN) plays a crucial role in the world by promoting peace, security, and cooperation among nations. It provides a platform for dialogue, helps resolve conflicts, and supports humanitarian efforts. Through various agencies and programs, the UN addresses global issues such as poverty, climate change, and human rights, aiming to create a more sustainable and just world.

To discuss some important issues, the UzA correspondent invited Sabine Machl, United Nations Resident Coordinator in Uzbekistan. During the conversation, the critical role of global cooperation, Uzbekistan’s growing position within the organization, and the importance of developing political views among the youth were mostly paid attention to.

Sabine Machl emphasized that global collaboration is essential for addressing contemporary challenges, such as climate change, economic inequality, and regional conflicts. She also highlighted Uzbekistan’s active participation in international dialogues and its commitment to fostering peace and stability in Central Asia.
