Sabila Mustafina, Member of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan:
– My colleagues and me visited the city of Tashkent, Samarkand and Navoi regions, where we got acquainted with the preparation process for the referendum. The training was organized at a high level. The main thing is that all citizens were highly aware of the reason for holding the referendum. That is, outreach and explanatory work on the renewed Constitution was carried out well.
Citizens actively participated in this event, since their rights are enshrined at the constitutional level. We visited 15 polling stations and saw people standing in line to vote.
People’s support for state policy is a very good indicator. After all, it is this factor that ensures the development of the country.
The referendum process was conducted in accordance with international standards. We visited the polling stations, carefully observed the process, talked with the population, and asked for their opinion. They have high confidence in the future.
Of course, we are happy with this. After all, we are fraternal people and rejoice in each other’s achievements.
