RV Healthcare to open a distribution center in Uzbekistan

First Deputy Chairman of the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Investments Sunatulla Bekenov met with representatives of Singapore company RV Healthcare PTE. LTD., in Khorezm region. Proposals on implementation of pharmaceutical projects in Uzbekistan were discussed.
RV Healthcare PTE. LTD., located in Singapore, is one of the largest pharmaceutical manufacturers in Asia, having three manufacturing plants in India, two in Vietnam and Myanmar, and enterprises in China, Cambodia, Hong Kong, the United Kingdom, Thailand, Kazakhstan and the Philippines.
Representatives of the company noted that in the first phase of the project in 2018 it is planned to open a distribution center with establishment of trade enterprise with foreign investments, with an assortment of more than 40 types of medicines, including auxiliary substances.
According to the State Committee for Investments, in the second stage, in 2019-2020, technologies for production and packaging of high-technology antiviral drugs (hepatitis B, C and antiretroviral drugs), oral cancer drugs, injections and biostimulators are planned to be transferred. And in the third stage, in 2021-2022 the full production of pharmaceuticals.
Following the meeting, it was decided to move to a practical phase of cooperation with foreign investors.
