The draw took place in Tashkent before the International Chess Tournament “Rustam Kasimjanov Cup”.

The tournament starts tomorrow and will feature the most talented grandmasters from five countries with more than 2634 points in the FIDE rating. Among them are Uzbekistan’s athletes Nodirbek Abdusattarov, Javokhir Sindorov, Nodirbek Yoqubboyev, Shamsiddin Vokhidov, Jakhongir Vokhidov, as well as Richard Rapport from Hungary, Shakhriyar Mamedyarov from Azerbaijan, Alexander Grischuk from Russia and Parham Maghsoodloo from Iran.

The international rapid tournament will be held in a round-robin system of nine rounds.
