Hockey Federations of Russia and Uzbekistan signed a Memorandum of Cooperation.

Hockey Federations of Russia and Uzbekistan signed a Memorandum of Cooperation. This agreement will contribute to the development of hockey in Uzbekistan, the study of rich experience and traditions of the best Russian hockey teams.

The document was signed on April 1, 2019 in Moscow by the President of the Hockey Federation of Russia Vladislav Tretiak and the President of the Hockey Federation of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Fazilov. This agreement defines the principles of further cooperation of the federations, provides for holding friendly matches in hockey, competitions for children and youth teams of the two countries and other special events.

In accordance with the memorandum, training programs for judges and coaches will be created, scientific-methodical conferences and workshops will be organized and held.

At the meeting, the parties also discussed important issues for development of youth hockey. At the same time, the Russian Hockey Federation expressed its readiness to share with the colleagues its achievements in the Red Machine National Development Program for hockey players.
