A Russian delegation led by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov will take part in the upcoming High-Level International Conference “Central and South Asia: Regional Connectivity. Challenges and Opportunities”.

“At the upcoming forum, it is planned to consider issues of interregional cooperation, the prospects for the implementation of transport and transit, innovative, technological, cultural, humanitarian and tourism opportunities”, said Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova at a press briefing.

She also noted that on July 16 in Tashkent it is planned to hold the 4th meeting of the foreign ministers of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
