The International Institute for Central Asia (IICA) hosted a meeting with leading researchers of the Institute of China and Contemporary Asia of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Dmitry Novikov, Shamil Enikeev, and Alexandra Perminova.

At the meeting, views were exchanged on the process in Central Asia, the interaction of the region’s countries with Russia and China, and the cooperation between the analytical structures of the two countries.

The parties agreed to organize a regular dialogue to strengthen scientific and academic cooperation between IICA and the Institute of China and Contemporary Asia of the Russian Academy of Sciences further.
