Hokim of Navoi region Normat Tursunov received a delegation led by the Omsk Region Governor Alexander Burkov.

At the meeting, with the participation of representatives of ministries, agencies and business circles of Omsk region, the prospects for the development of interregional relations between the two countries, the preparation of treaties and agreements on establishing cooperation in trade, economic, investment, agricultural, educational, cultural and humanitarian spheres were discussed.

Mr. Tursunov briefed the guests on the economic and investment potential of the region, intermodal logistics opportunities, ongoing projects in the agricultural sector.

In turn, the Omsk Region Governor noted that the establishment of cooperation in the interests of the two countries and the purpose of the visit of an expanded delegation to Navoi is to achieve specific promising agreements.

During the visit, the delegation is expected to become familiar with the production process of large facilities in Navoi FEZ, the Zarafshan Grand Boglari greenhouse facility, the Navpromlitmash, Tiancheng Stone, Gidro-Stanko-Servis enterprises, the activities of Navoi State Pedagogical Institute and Navoi State Mining and Technology University.
