Russia, Uzbekistan enhance collaboration in renewable energy sources
12:14 / 2022-11-15

Russia’s Dealan Energo company, which is engaged in scientific research in renewable energy, has signed a license agreement for the right to produce and sell wind power plants in Uzbekistan.

The project is being implemented jointly with Kokand Mechanical Plant JSC.

The company has also concluded a dealer agreement with Amrut Resource LLC for the supply of a hydroelectric power plant to Uzbekistan with the right to complete and conduct maintenance work.

It should be noted that large-scale work is underway in Uzbekistan on the transition to green energy. By 2026, the country intends to increase the level of generation based on renewable energy sources to 25 percent (8 gigawatts).
