Russia’s Cheboksary Publishing House has published a collection of ghazals by Alisher Navoi in Russian and Chuvash.

The invaluable creative and scientific heritage of the great poet and thinker, an outstanding statesman and public figure Alisher Navoi plays a special role in the development of Uzbek and world literature.

The 580th anniversary of Navoi's birth will be widely celebrated this year both in Uzbekistan and around the world. The publication of the ghazals collection is timed to the upcoming date.

The ghazals were translated into Russian by Nikolay Kushmanov.
