In January-September 2023, Russian investments and loans of 15.9 percent of all foreign investments were attracted to the economy of Uzbekistan. This is the second indicator.

According to the Statistics Agency, during the reporting period, foreign investments and loans directed to fixed assets increased by 20.1 percent compared to the same period in 2022 and amounted to 104.4 trillion UZS.

China leads in this ranking with 24.5 percent, and Saudi Arabia is in third place with 7 percent.

Russia remains the largest investor in Uzbekistan. Companies in this country have contributed more than $11 billion to Uzbekistan’s economy.
