Olympic weightlifting champion Ruslan Nurudinov (-109 kg) won another gold medal in his career at the 5th Islamic Solidarity Games.

According to Uzbekistan National Olympic Committee, he set a record on the first attempt (177 kg), and later he managed to lift a barbell weighing 187 kg. In addition, Ruslan Nurudinov lifted 230 kg in the clean and jerk, and 417 kg in total. Thus, Uzbekistan’s athlete celebrated the championship in all types of the program.
