Running events took place in eight cities of Uzbekistan on the eve of Youth Day.

In Samarkand, the event was held under the motto “Let’s run together in one country at one time one distance to one goal!”. The winners became Namoz Bobomuradov from Oqdaryo district, Kamola Ablayeva, Farangiz Alimova and Elnoza Makhmaraimova from Pastdargom district, Marjona Rakhimova from Jambay district, Madina Sagatova and Mashkhura Shamshiyeva from Samarkand.

Over 80 sports fans with disabilities also participated in the marathon. Umida Makhmudova from Samarkand and Qudrat Tashbayev from Pastdargom district became the first to come.

Tourists Devi Sanchez and Emile Sanchez, who came from France on bicycles, were also among the participants.
