The next day of the 6th Islamic Solidarity Games in Riyadh, brought another bronze medal to the Uzbekistan national team.

Uzbekistan’s Jahongir Khudoyberdiyev, who competed in WT taekwondo (up to 54 kg), defeated Deniz Dağdelen from Türkiye in a duel for third place. The Uzbekistan women’s national handball team also beat Azerbaijan with a score of 28:26 in the second round of the team events.

At the moment, Uzbekistan’s athletes are in second place in the overall medal standings with 15 gold, 18 silver, and 17 bronze medals.
