The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Riga organized a briefing for representatives of the Latvian expert and scientific circles who are monitoring the progress of large-scale reforms in Uzbekistan.
Ambassador Kadambay Sultanov presented detailed information on the constitutional reform, preparations for the upcoming national referendum, as well as the state and prospects for the dynamic development of multifaceted cooperation between Uzbekistan and Latvia. The practical support of Latvia within the framework of the administrative reform in Uzbekistan, aimed at ensuring compactness and increasing the efficiency of the state administrative office, was noted.
The participants of the briefing emphasized that large-scale activity has been carried out to legislate the achievements of reforms in New Uzbekistan.
Latvian experts shared their assessments of the progress of large-scale reforms in the country, as well as their vision of the prospects for comprehensive cooperation with Uzbekistan, which is its largest trading partner of Latvia.
