Such schools will be opened based on the specialized children’s and youth equestrian schools by the resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On measures to organize the activities of riding schools” of August 5, 2021.
Riding schools will be funded from the state budget and will enter the system of the National Guard of the Republic of Uzbekistan as out-of-school sports and educational institutions.
Starting March 1, 2022, they will begin training athletes in the corresponding categories and ranks. They will teach such disciplines as triathlon, showjumping and dressage, modern pentathlon, polo and uloq-kupkari. Schools will attract adolescents and young people to practice these sports. The most talented athletes will be selected.
The Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan, together with the federations of horse breeding and equestrian sports, modern pentathlon, polo and uloq-kupkari of Uzbekistan, will provide the schools with the necessary teaching aids, textbooks, books, help develop a training program and select thoroughbred horses. The educational and training process of schools will be aimed at preparing a sports reserve and high-level athletes for the national teams of Uzbekistan, capable of adequately defending the honor of the country in the international sports arena.
Thanks to the new schools, the number of thoroughbred horses, including horses of the Karabair breed, will increase.
